Spanish Grand Prix 2021 results
The Spanish Grand Prix can sometimes be a bit of a procession but not this year. Qualifying saw Hamilton take his 100th pole position but at the start of the race he was passed by Verstappen. Verstappen then held the lead through the first round of pit stops but Hamilton was generally able to keep within a second of the Dutchman. Mercedes then gambled by bringing Hamilton in and he rejoined having to make up some 22 seconds on Verstappen in 24 laps. Hamilton then dramatically closed the gap, passing Bottas on the way, and eventually passed Verstappen to take his 98th win.
In RealityF1 it was Mgzinha who won the Reality F1 Spanish Grand Prix. The team to have was Leclerc, Räikkönen, Red Bull Racing and McLaren.
In the 2021 RealityF1 Championship Tom Sykes holds on to the lead.
In the league competition, Fighting for second get it all wrong and go top. Finland are in first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The fifth race of the season, the Monaco Grand Prix, takes place on 23rd May.
