Reality F1 - Fantasy F1 competition

Russian Grand Prix 2021 results

The Russian Grand Prix saw a much deserved pole position for Lando Norris, with Carlos Sainz in second and George Russell in third. It was Sainz who got the best run down to the first corner as he passed Norris. Lando then retook the lead and held onto it for much of the race. Hamilton had a poor start from fourth and dropped back but eventually closed in on Norris. A late rain shower caused a lot of drama as many of the drivers pitted for wet tyres but Norris stayed out. Hamilton, with a pace advantage on the intermediate tyres, hunted down Norris and eventually Lando slid off the circuit and Hamilton went on to take his 100th Grand Prix victory. Verstappen started from the back after needing to change his power unit but fought his way up to finish second, Sainz finished third.

In RealityF1 it was SmithyB_03 who won the Reality F1 Russian Grand Prix. The team to have was Verstappen, Norris, Alpine and Alfa Romeo.

In the 2021 RealityF1 Championship, SmithyB_03 leaps five places to take the lead from Tom Sykes with Wizzard in third.

In the league competition, Petrolheads hold the lead. Finland move back to first place in the country league competition.

The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The next race is the Turkish Grand Prix on 10th October.
