Qatar Grand Prix 2021 results
The Qatar Grand Prix was another dominant performance from Lewis Hamilton as he led from lights to flag. Verstappen, recovering from a five place grid penalty for ignoring double waved yellow flags, quickly reached second place but was unable to do anything about Hamilton. Alonso finished a very impressive third. Behind them there was drama as several cars suffered punctures. Bottas was one of the drivers to suffer a puncture and ultimately he had to retire the car. Perez fought his way up from eleventh to fourth and the result means Red Bull close in on Mercedes in the constructors' championship and Hamilton closes on Verstappen in the drivers' championship with just two races to go.
In RealityF1 it was Chicaner who took the win in the Reality F1 Qatar Grand Prix. The team to have was Verstappen, Stroll, Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo.
In the 2021 RealityF1 Championship, SmithyB_03 holds on to the lead for another race. The gap to Tom Sykes in second is just 10.5 points.
In the league competition, "Fighting for second" stay top. Finland also stay in first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The next race is the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on 5th December.
