Belgian Grand Prix 2021 results
What felt like the possibly the longest Grand Prix in history turned out to be the shortest. The weather at Spa prompted a red flag after a formation lap behind the safety car and it was more than three hours before the F1 cars took to the track again. In the end they completed two laps behind the safety car before the race was red flagged again. Two laps is the minimum number of laps that must be completed for a result to be declared. The race was won by Verstappen but, after a phenomenal qualifying, it was George Russell in second who took the limelight with his first F1 podium, Hamilton finished third. As the race did not reach 75% distance the points were halved (and in RealityF1).
In RealityF1 it was a win for Scorch2477 in the Reality F1 Belgian Grand Prix. The team to have was Verstappen, Russell, McLaren and Williams.
In the 2021 RealityF1 Championship, Tom Sykes holds on to the lead.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The 14th race of the season, the Dutch Grand Prix, takes place on 5th September.
