Reality F1 - Fantasy F1 competition

Japanese Grand Prix 2019 results

The Japanese Grand Prix was disrupted by a typhoon and qualifying took place on Sunday morning. Vettel and Leclerc locked out the front row but a first lap crash between Verstappen and Leclerc caused Verstappen to retire and Leclerc to drop down the order. Bottas took the lead at the pit stops and Hamilton harried Vettel in the closing stages of the race. Bottas took the win and with Hamilton finishing third they have secured the Constructors' Championship for Mercedes and the Drivers' Championship to now be between Bottas and Hamilton. This means that Mercedes have now won the double for six seasons in the row which is a new record. At the time of writing both Renaults were under investigation so their scores may still change.

In the RealityF1 competition it was Who141 that finished first in the 2019 RealityF1 Japanese Grand Prix. The team to have was Ricciardo, Hülkenberg, Renault and Racing Point.

In the 2019 RealityF1 Championship ccsmse holds on to the top spot and PaulSm moves to second.

In the league competition, NESTF1 stay at the top. New Zealand stay in first place in the country league competition.

The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The 18th race of the season, the Mexican Grand Prix, is on 27th October.
