Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix 2026 results
The Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix was a very competitive race for a number of teams as Mercedes' George Russell took pole ahead of Hamilton followed by Antonelli and Norris and Verstappen. Russell held on to the lead at the start and Hamilton kept within a few seconds. Hamilton had started on the softs so pitted early but Russell pitted soon after. After Hamilton's second stop he came alive and was closing down the two Mercedes at almost two seconds a lap. This phenominal stint moved him into contention and he took the lead when both Mercedes cars stopped for their final stop. A virtual safety car then gave Hamilton a short final pit stop and he was able to pit without losing the lead. However, he had such pace that it would've been likely he would win anyway without the shorter pit stop under the virtual safety car. So Hamilton took the flag and with it his 106th Grand Prix victory and his first Grand Prix win for Ferrari.
In RealityF1 it was KevinL that won the Reality F1 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. Their team was Hamilton, Bortoleto, Haas and Alpine. The best team for this race was Hamilton, Pérez, and two Alpines scoring 158 points.
In the 2026 RealityF1 Championship, Piet holds the lead.
In the league competition, Brimberry Family F1 holds the top spot. United States hold first place in the country league competition.
