Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 results
The 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix was held in Malaysia and it is 9 years since F1 last visited the Sepang Circuit. Verstappen was on form throughout the weekend and took pole ahead of Hamilton. On race day a downpour delayed the start and teams were on a mixture of strategies when the race did start. Some of the drivers, including Hamilton, started on slicks but most started on intermediate wet tyres. It quickly became clear that the circuit was too wet for the slicks and these runners dropped to the back. A drying circuit and mixture of virtual safety car and actual safety car periods resulted in a chaotic but interesting race. In the end, Verstappen finished ahead of Antonelli and Hamilton and Russell had to retire late on due to a power unit issue.
In RealityF1 it was a win for Luka in the Reality F1 Bahrain Grand Prix. Their team was Verstappen, Linblad, Racing Bulls and Haas. The best team to have for the race was Verstappen, Linblad and two Racing Bulls scoring 194.50 points.
In the 2026 RealityF1 Championship, Piet holds on to the lead.
In the league competition, Fighting for second hold the top spot. United States hold first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The 17th race of the 2026 season is the Singapore Grand Prix on 11th October.
