United States Grand Prix 2023 scores recalculated
After the United States Grand Prix four of the cars were scrutinised and two were found not to meet the technical requirements for wear to the floor of the car. These cars were the Mercedes of Hamilton and the Ferrari of Leclerc and both cars were disqualified. It seems likely that the sprint format of the weekend meant that it was harder to set up the cars for a full fuel load and a bumpy circuit and this led to more wear than expected.
As a result of the disqualifications I have recalculated the scores for the Reality F1 United States Grand Prix, the race was won by Roger Turner and the team to have was Norris, Stroll, Red Bull Racing and Williams.
