Reality F1 - Fantasy F1 competition

Australian Grand Prix 2023 results

The Australian Grand Prix was best described as a messy race. The race featured three red flags and some controversy at the end. During the restart following the second red flag, Sainz collided with Alonso and knocked him out of third place, then the two Alpines collided and retired... and then there was another red flag. There were not enough laps remaining for the race to restart so it finished behind the safety car, with cars taking the positions they were in the lap before the last restart... but two cars were out and not reinstated and Sainz was given a five second penalty for the collision with Alonso even though the count back was to the lap prior to the collision happening. Unfortunately it was not a good look for the sport. It was another win for Verstappen, Hamilton was second and Alonso third. Stroll finished fourth and Pérez finished fifth having started from the pit lane.

In RealityF1 it was a clear win by iansealy in the Reality F1 Australian Grand Prix. The team to have was Pérez, Piastri, Aston Martin and McLaren.

In the 2023 RealityF1 Championship, it's 2022 champion Flying Scotsman still in the lead.

In the league competition, NESTF1 move to the top. Finland are in first place in the country league competition.

The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The fourth race of the 2023 season is the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on 30th April.
