Reality F1 - Fantasy F1 competition

Brazilian Grand Prix 2022 results

Brazil almost always delivers a thrilling race and it was no exception this year. Having won the sprint race on Saturday, Russell started on pole and led the field away. A collision between Magnussen and Ricciardo brought out the safety car and, at the restart, Verstappen tried to pass Hamilton for second. Verstappen collided with Hamilton and both dropped back with Verstappen being given a five second penalty for the accident. Russell comfortably built a lead ahead of Sainz and Pérez but Hamilton stormed back through the field and back into contention. However, Russell held on to the lead and took his maiden F1 victory with Hamilton in second. Behind them there was controversy as Verstappen ignored team orders to let Pérez pass, the Mexican having previously allowed Verstappen to pass in an attempt to chase down Sainz and Leclerc.

In RealityF1 it was a win for Tony in the RealityF1 Brazilian Grand Prix. The team to have was Alonso, Ocon, Ferrari and Alpine.

In the 2022 RealityF1 Championship, and with just one race to go, Flying Scotsman still holds the lead with Cake and Keith in second.

In the league competition, NESTF1 are top. Finland remain first in the country league competition.

The site will re-open for team changes on Monday. The final race of the 2022 season is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 20th November.
