Italian Grand Prix 2021 results
After the uninteresting sprint race the Italian Grand Prix was a dramatic affair. Ricciardo jumped Verstappen on the first lap and with both Hamilton and Verstappen stuck behind a McLaren the race seemed relatively settled. However, during the pitstops a slow stop for Verstappen meant that Hamilton exited the pits just ahead and Verstappen then tried to pass Hamilton into the second corner. The cars touched and Verstappen's car bounced across the top of Hamilton's and both of them had to retire. The stewards later judged the accident to be Versrappen's fault and he has a three place grid penalty at the next Grand Prix. This left the two McLarens to finish a fabulous one-two with Ricciardo taking the top step and Norris in second, Bottas finished third.
In RealityF1 it was a three-way tie between Jim Martin, KevinL and Wizzard in the Reality F1 Italian Grand Prix. The team to have was Ricciardo, Norris, Alpine and McLaren.
In the 2021 RealityF1 Championship, Tom Sykes holds on to the lead but Wizzard jumps 51 places to second and Jim Martin leaps 59 places to third.
In the league competition, Petrolheads move into first. United States move back to first place in the country league competition.
