Hungarian Grand Prix 2021 results
The Hungarian Grand Prix started wet with Bottas out braking himself and collecting Norris and both Red Bulls. Stroll then crashed into Leclerc and both retired. The race was red flagged and, at the restart, all of the field entered the pits to switch to dry tyres with the exception of Hamilton who took the start on his own. He then pitted and rejoined at the back of the field. He then worked his way through the field to finished behind Ocon and Vettel. In late drama, Vettel was then disqualified as not enough fuel could be extracted from his car to be analysed. This meant the final result was Ocon, Hamilton, Sainz. With Verstappen only in ninth this was strong weekend for Hamilton and he took the lead in the championship again. However, it was Ocon that stood out by taking his maiden F1 win.
