Reality F1 - Fantasy F1 competition

Austrian Grand Prix 2020 results

The 2020 F1 season is finally up an running and it looked like it was going to be a dominant race for Mercedes. However, it became a race of attrition with seven cars failing to finish and both Mercedes cars nursing gearbox issues. During a late safety car period Albon changed to fresh tyres and set about challenging Bottas and Hamilton. Hamilton and Albon collided and Hamilton was given a five second time penalty. He looked like he'd still secure third but a last minute fastest lap from Norris saw Hamilton relegated to fourth and Norris up onto the podium. The top three were Bottas, Leclerc and Norris.

A great weekend for McLaren saw the aptly named #BelieveInMcLaren team, run by McLast, take the top spot in the Reality F1 Austrian Grand Prix. As this is the first race of the season the results for the Austrian Grand Prix are also the current championship standings.

As the season is now underway you can see the team components of other players and also see a breakdown of your own scores. We have also generated your predicted world rank following this event. However, you now only have three free team changes for the remainder of the season. You can make as many changes you want but, after your three free changes, 20 championship points will be deducted for any further changes.

The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The second race of the season, the Styrian Grand Prix, is also in Austria and takes place next weekend (12th July).
