Reality F1 - Fantasy F1 competition

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2020 and final results

Abu Dhabi was an extremely dominant performance from Verstappen to take his second win of the season. Bottas beat Hamilton who appeared to struggle in his first race back after catching Covid-19. Further down the pack McLaren secured third in the Constructors' Championship. However, the season really belongs to Hamilton who took his seventh Driver's Championship and also beat Michael Schumacher's record for race wins.

In RealityF1, the 2020 RealityF1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was won by Jim. The team to have for this race was Verstappen, Norris, Red Bull Racing and Williams.

The 2020 RealityF1 Championship was won by janne, congratulations janne you become the twentieth RealityF1 Champion! Wildheart90 moved up to second place in the final race with Malbotnado falling to third. Gabby'B was the top ranked rookie player (someone playing RealityF1 for the first time) in 15th.

In the league competition, NESTF1 took the top spot for the second year running and their fourth league championship.

In the country league competition it was the United States who took victory from Finland and the United Kingdom. Finland have not been outside of the top three since 2011.

As the season has now ended I have updated the player rankings (a leaderboard of all the players who've contested a RealityF1 season since the game started in 2001). The top ranking player is now janne ahead of Keith and pecciolif1.

As usual, I'm keen to hear any feedback you may have on the game so I can continue to improve it so please email me your views and suggestions for the future.

The site will re-open on Monday and, although you won't be able to create a team for the new season yet, you will still be able to update your profile and account details if you wish (should you change email addresses etc).

RealityF1 will return for the 2021 season. The provisional date for the first race is the 21st March 2021. A month or so before the first race I'll email you to let you know that you can create your team for the coming season.

It only remains for me to thank you for playing RealityF1, I look forward to losing to you again in 2021.
