Hungarian Grand Prix 2019 results
Max Verstappen achieved the first pole position of his F1 career in Hungary. He made a good start and was in control for much of the race. However, Hamilton was able to keep up with Verstappen and challenged for the lead a few times. Late on in the race the Mercedes team pitted Hamilton and he rejoined the race on newer tyres but 20 seconds behind Verstappen with 20 laps to go. He broke the lap record several times as he chased Verstappen and caught him with three laps to go. By this time Verstappen's tyres were very worn and Hamilton was able to pass him easily and take the win.
In the RealityF1 competition, it was a three-way tie between Biosp, Front_Row and Speedy Steve at the 2019 RealityF1 Hungarian Grand Prix. The team to have was Verstappen, Sainz Jnr, Red Bull Racing and Alfa Romeo.
In the 2019 RealityF1 Championship Olbeth re-takes the lead from Rattler.
In the league competition, NESTF1 stay at the top. New Zealand stay in first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The 13th race of the season, the Belgian Grand Prix, is on 1st September.
