German Grand Prix 2018 results
The German Grand Prix was a great race and we saw another swing in the championship. After a car failure in qualifying Hamilton started 14th. After a long first stint he was still as fast as the leaders on much older tyres. As Hamilton changed onto the ultra-softs it started to rain and he found himself 2-3 seconds faster than the other cars. He quickly drove into contention and when Vettel crashed out whilst using old rubber Hamilton was able to take the lead and finish with an unlikely, but well earned, victory. The result saw Hamilton retake the lead in the championship.
In the RealityF1 competition it was Idris and Version2 that finished first in the 2018 RealityF1 German Grand Prix. The team to have was Ocon, Hamilton, Sauber, Force India.
In the 2018 RealityF1 Championship Rob Stone jumps two places to take the lead with RachelC84 in second.
In the league competition, FIA Yorkshire League hold onto the lead with "In last place..." second. Portugal still hold on to first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The twelfth race of the season, the Hungarian Grand Prix, is on 29th July.
