Reality F1 - Fantasy F1 competition

Australian Grand Prix 2016 results

Rosberg carried the form from the end of last season in to the new campaign and took a good win in Australia. After a poor start from both Mercedes it looked like Vettel would take a lot of catching. Unfortunately the race was red flagged following a horrific accident for Alonso and seeing him walk away from the car was a huge relief. Before the race restarted the two Mercedes cars changed tyre compound but Vettel did not. This meant he had to pit later in the race and lost the lead to Rosberg. Hamilton had a combative race and had to fight his way through to second. Further down the field it was fantastic to see Grosjean bring the Haas home in sixth place in its first race

Excellent results for Grosjean, Palmer, Mercedes and Williams took rookie Ste to the top spot in the Reality F1 Australian Grand Prix. As this is the first race of the season the results for the Australian Grand Prix are also the current championship standings.

As the season is now underway you can see the team components of other players and also see a breakdown of your own scores. We have also generated your predicted world rank following this event. However, you now only have three free team changes for the remainder of the season. You can make as many changes you want but, after your three free changes, 50 championship points will be deducted for any further changes.

After the dreadful debacle that was qualifying, F1 looks set to return to the format used last season from the Bahrain Grand Prix.

The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The second race of the season, Bahrain, is on 3rd April.
