Monaco Grand Prix 2022 results
The Monaco Grand Prix can be a processional affair... but at least we had the weather to hold our interest this year. With a few minutes to go before the start the rain came down and the start was delayed for some time. When the race did get going it was a rolling start and, rather than overtaking, the interest focussed on strategy. The Red Bull of Pérez managed to take the lead ahead of Sainz during the stops with Leclerc dropping from first to fourth, behind Verstappen. A big crash from Schumacher saw the race red flagged and at the restart the top four cars followed nose-to-tail for the remainder of the race that went to time not distance. Pérez took a well deserved win in Monaco.
In RealityF1 it was StressedDave who took the win in the RealityF1 Monaco Grand Prix. The team to have was Pérez, Bottas, Ferrari and Alfa Romeo.
In the 2022 RealityF1 Championship, Lymbo holds on to the lead.
In the league competition, NESTF1 are top. Finland are in first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes on Monday. The eighth race of the 2022 season is the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on 12th June.
