Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 2022 results
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was the first Sprint Qualifying weekend of the season and once again the sprint format didn't really add much to the weekend with Verstappen passing Leclerc with two laps to go and taking the win. The weather over the weekend was changeable and the Grand Prix itself started in wet conditions. For most of the race there was little action down the field and Verstappen comfortably built a lead over Perez and Leclerc. A late pit stop for Leclerc in an attempt to get the point for the fastest lap ended up with him sliding off the track and finishing down in sixth. This resulted in Lando Norris finishing third behind, Perez and Verstappen.
As this was the first Sprint Qualifying weekend of the season it's perhaps worth reminding players how the scores for Sprint Qualifying are calculated in RealityF1.
In RealityF1 it was junho1024 who took the win in the RealityF1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The team to have was Norris, Verstappen, AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo.
In the 2022 RealityF1 Championship, Lymbo moves up four places into the lead.
In the league competition, NESTF1 are top. Finland are in first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The fifth race of the 2022 season is the Miami Grand Prix on 8th May.
