Turkish Grand Prix 2020 results
F1's return to Turkey for the first time since 2011 gave us a tremendous race. The track was recently resurfaced and the surface was very slippery. Heavy rain also affected qualifying and the race. The Mercedes struggled to get heat into their tyres and it was Stroll who got the job done to take his first pole position in F1. In wet conditions on Sunday the Canadian led the Grand Prix as cars pirouetted and slid off the track. The Ferraris both had excellent starts but Verstappen and Bottas both span several times. Hamilton dropped back but slowly edged his way through the field and playing the long game paid off when he passed Perez for the lead. With late rain forecast Hamilton decided to stay out on very worn inters and the gamble paid off as the rain didn't materialise. Another masterclass from Hamilton resulted in another race win and with it he secured a record equalling seventh World Driver's Championship.
Behind Hamilton both McLarens started from a long way down the grid and slowly fought their way through. This gave Wizzard the win in the 2020 RealityF1 Turkish Grand Prix. The team to have was Norris, Sainz Jnr and two McLarens.
In the 2020 RealityF1 Championship janne holds on to the lead.
In the league competition, NESTF1 stay top. The United States hold on to first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The 14th race of the season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, is on 29th November.
