Bahrain Grand Prix 2020 results
The Bahrain Grand Prix was another masterclass from Hamilton but the race was overshadowed by a horrific crash for Grosjean. On the opening lap the Frenchman's Haas left the track, struck the barrier and split into two. The fuel then ignited resulting in a huge fireball with the driver trapped inside within the safety cell of the car. After an agonising wait Grosjean appeared through the flames and was helped to safety by marshals and F1's medical staff. Grosjean was taken to hospital and thankfully the reports are that he only has minor injuries.
Behind Hamilton both Red Bulls had a good day and completed the podium. However, the two McLarens also had a very strong race from a long way down the grid to finish fourth and fifth. This gave McLast the win in the 2020 RealityF1 Bahrain Grand Prix. The team to have was Norris, Sainz Jnr and two McLarens.
In the 2020 RealityF1 Championship janne holds on to the lead but the gap to wildheart90 is just half a point.
In the league competition, NESTF1 stay top. The United States hold on to first place in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The 16th race of the season, the Sakhir Grand Prix, is on 6th December.
