Singapore Grand Prix 2017 results
After taking a dominant pole this was a race that Vettel looked certain to win. However, on a damp track both Verstappen and Räikkönen made better starts and when Vettel moved across to try and block Verstappen he pushed him towards Räikkönen. The resulting collision spun Räikkönen into Vettel and ultimately ended the race for Vettel, Verstappen, Räikkönen and Alonso. Hamilton had made a great start and was second by the first corner and, having avoided the accident, took the lead when Vettel retired before the end of the first lap. However, the race was far from easy as there were still multiple safety cars to contend with but Hamilton gave a dominant performance and took the win on a day when his main championship rival was out on the first lap. Ricciardo finished second and Bottas was third.
In the Reality F1 competition the Singapore Grand Prix was won by Idris. The team to have was Hamilton, Palmer, Force India and Force India.
In the Reality F1 championship Adam34 holds on to the top spot but Porkie moves up to second.
In the league competition, The Sharp League hold onto the lead. United States hold on to the lead in the country league competition.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The 15th race of the season, the Malaysian Grand Prix, is on 1st October.
