British Grand Prix 2015 results
The British Grand Prix was an absolutely fantastic race with drama from start to finish. After a poor start by the two Mercedes drivers it was Massa and Bottas who led until the first pit stop. Hamilton pitted first and jumped both Williams cars to take the lead.... but then it started to rain. On a damp track Rosberg overtook both Williams cars and began closing down Hamilton. At this point Hamilton dived into the pits and the team put intermediate tyres on the car. It turned out to be an inspired move as the rain became heavier and, by the time Rosberg pitted, Hamilton had built a 10 second lead and had done enough to secure his third British Grand Prix win and second in a row.
In the Reality F1 competition the British Grand Prix was won by lord vile. The team to have in Great Britain was Hamilton, Mehri, Ferrari, and Manor.
In the Reality F1 championship wildheart90 and Charles Taylor share the lead.
In the league competition, NESTF1 hold top spot in to the ahead of OddsandSods. Finland lead the Country League competition with Australia in second.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The tenth race of the season, the Hungarian Grand Prix, is on the 26th July.
