Singapore Grand Prix 2014 results
The Singapore Grand Prix was the second victory in a row for Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton had a comfortable lead but this was wiped out by the safety car. Hamilton then had to put in a series of searing laps in order to build a gap to Vettel so that he could pit and rejoin still in contention. When Hamilton rejoined behind Vettel he was able to put his new tyres to good use and pass Vettel to take the win. However the race was perhaps most significant for Nico Rosberg's DNF. This, along with Hamilton's win, means that Lewis has taken the lead in the championship ahead of Rosberg.
In the Reality F1 competition the Singapore Grand Prix was won by Nick Myers ahead of Steve B. The team to have for this race was Hamilton, Vergne, Force India, Williams.
In the Reality F1 championship tomtrentham holds on to the lead with Heads.i.Win in second and SubmarinerF1 in third.
In the league competition, 'Fighting for second' stay in first place with NESTF1 second and The Robbins Family third. Finland holds on to the top spot in the country league with Portugal in second and United States falls to third.
The site will re-open for team changes tomorrow (Monday). The fifteenth race of the season, the Japanese Grand Prix, is on 5th October.
