McLaren and Mercedes set the free practice pace in Australia
After the long winter break the 2012 F1 season has begun!
In the first free practice session for the Australian GP the Mclarens of Button and Hamilton topped the time sheets. The session was damp and Massa became the first driver of 2012 to spin off.
The second session began wetter than the first session and the times were slower. However, this time it was Schumacher for Mercedes and Hulkenberg for Force India who were first and second respectively.
Current champions Red Bull had a relatively low-key first day but team boss Christian Horner says they're yet to run their car with a low fuel load.
Qualifying tomorrow will be a very interesting session.
